PRODUCTS

A product is out of stock, will it be back?

All our items are produced in limited edition so we might not be able to have more stock. However, you can create an alert in order to be informed when similar items are available online

How to take care of my bag or clutch?

For both fabrics and leather, we recommend to avoid the contact with oily products, water, solvent or alcohol liquids. If the bag is wet, let it dry. Light colors might get darker with time and daily use. All leather will develop its own patina over time, your bag or clutch will be more unique!

Dark leather might stain light clothes during rainy weather. We recommend to pay attention if you get wet….

If you really need to clean your Kemang bag or clutch take it to a trusted shoemaker or cleaner specialized in leather goods.

Why each bag or clutch is unique?

The way we cut the fabric makes each item unique. The pattern or the embroideries’ colors will be different on each bag or clutch. Each product within the same style will not look exactly the same which makes each of our bag unique.

Leather is a natural material which has its own defaults and imperfections, this is the certification of authenticity! Each skin is unique and has a different character. You might encounter subtle variations in colour or finish.

 

Why each design comes in limited edition?

I have bought these unique and traditional fabrics during my trips. As they are all hand-woven or hand-printed with traditional techniques, they are produced in small quatities. This is the beauty and the magic of Kemang’s bags and clutches, we produce one style until the fabric is finished... We can make 30 items or sometimes only 5… Your bag is unique and produced in limited edition!

 

Where do the fabrics come from?

All our traditional fabrics are bought with love along our journeys. All Ikats and Batiks come from Java, Lombok or Sumba and are exclusively all hand-woven and printed with traditional techniques, the result of ancestral savoir-faire

 

DELIVERY & ORDER

  • International shipping fees will be calculated at checkout.

 

What about the duties and taxes?

International shipping is not inclusive of duties and taxes. Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes that may apply upon delivery. We advise international customers to confirm/calculate applicable duties and taxes before purchasing.

     

    When will I receive my order?

    All our bags and clutches are packed by hand in Los Angeles. Your order should be sent within 2 or 3 business days after confirmation of your payment. For the USA, you should receive your order within the 3-5 business days and overseas 6-10 days.

     

    RETURN & EXCHANGE

    How do I return or exchange an item?

    We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. We understand you can be unsatisfied with the item you have ordered. You have 15 days from when you receive your order to return your purchase for an exchange or a store credit. The items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Any item not in original condition, damaged or missing parts after will not be accepted for return.

    If you want to exchange your order for a different design or color, send us an email on contact@kemang.com and we will send you the instructions to proceed to the return. The shipping fees will be on your charge.


    What happen if I receive a defective or mis-shiped product?

    Each item is carefully checked and packed by us in order to provide only the best in quality. Despite all this attention, we recognize that sometimes mistakes can occur. If your product presents any damages or you receive the wrong item, please notify us by sending an email at contact@kemang.com within the 3 days of receiving the product. Kemang will do its best to offer you the best solution.

    In the case of a store credit for a Damaged Product exclusively, Damaged Product shall be shipped back to us freight and delivery prepaid by us.
